I never knew that tuna fish could taste so good. After I made this, I’ve been constantly wanting to make it again and again. We actually get cravings for tuna fish salad… Something I previously thought was impossible.
This recipe is amazing, easy, healthy, and has a perfect blend of textures, flavors, and colors. This isn’t your typical tuna salad, but give it a whirl (at least once) and I can almost guarantee you’ll be making it again and again…
It only takes about 10 minutes to make and serves 3-4 adults.
Ingredients:
2 Cans BumbleBee Tuna. BumbleBee tuna is the best and non-fishy-tasting (not a word I know) brand…
1 Roma Tomato diced
2 medium sized or 1 large Dill Pickle- I use the zesty kind that ads a tiny bit more to the salad but regular is fine too
2 stalks of celery diced
1/2 Cup onion minced (I prefer red)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 Cup Mayo
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1. Dice/mince up vegetables and add all ingredients together in a bowl. Stir well.
2. Serve and Enjoy! Refrigerate left overs… if there are any!
I prefer to eat this with a spoon for a low-carb meal. For a more substantial/filling meal I eat it with crackers or as a sandwich with bread. It is amazing!
